John Bergmeyer

John Bergmeyer is a business law attorney, whose practice focuses on commercial and real estate transactions, corporate law, banking law, business and estate planning and estate/probate administration. He enjoys working with business owners and executives to help them achieve their personal and professional goals. Away from the office, John enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid Husker sports fan and loves to golf and fly fish.

John has served as a board member and volunteer for many community, civic and charitable organizations including the Lincoln Community Foundation, Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, Country Club of Lincoln, Lincoln Children’s Zoo, Heartland Big Brothers/Big Sisters, American Cancer Society, UNL College of Business Administration Dean’s Advisory Board, University of Nebraska Foundation (Trustee), Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure Commission, Leadership Lincoln, Dimensions Educational Research Foundation, Christ Lincoln Church, AGS Gamma Chapter Foundation and Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. John previously served as a director of First State Bank Nebraska in Lincoln, NE and now serves as Chairman of the Board of i3 Bank based in Bennington, NE.
